MONKEY BREAD

2 ½ tsp. active dry yeast (one package)
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
¼ cup white sugar
2 tbsp. butter softened
1 cup water
1 cup packed brown sugar
small package instant butterscotch pudding mix optional
¼ cup white sugar
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
½ cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts
½ cup or more melted butter
Put 1st 7 ingredients into bread machine and select dough cycle, or make dough the old fashioned way. Put dough on floured surface. Kneed a few times. Cut dough into 1 inch chunks or find something small and round to cut out into balls. Mix brown sugar, pudding mix, white sugar, cinnamon and nuts. Alternately layer dough chunks, sugar mixture and butter in a greased bundit pan. Let rise until doubled. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until done. Let set a few minutes and then turn pan over onto serving plate.
