SWISS STEAK
From our beloved friend Tanya Gustafson

round steak
flour
salt and pepper
crushed tomatoes (canned)
bell peppers
onion
oil

Cut round steak into strips or into pieces. In a Ziploc bag, add flour, salt and pepper. Put meat in bag; shake to cover meat with flour. In a Dutch oven, heat about 1/2 cup oil. Slice the onion and bell pepper. Brown meat in oil; add the bell pepper and onion at the same time. Add a little more flour and let brown. Add can of tomatoes and water. Cover and simmer until meat is tender. Do not let it dry up.
