SWEET AND SOUR CABBAGE

Take purple or green cabbage (sometimes I use half of each)
Shred cabbage (not longer than 1")
Fry an entire package of bacon --SAVING GREASE!
Add shredded cabbage to grease....stir around till it's all coated...
cook until cabbage is tender. Added crumbled bacon. Add equal amounts of vinegar and sugar (starting with 3 Tablespoons of each) until you acquire desired taste. I serve this often with breaded pork chops and mashed potatoes.
